AVAILABLE CALENDAR

iCalendar

Apple Calendar, Outlook or Google — private .ics feed, no OAuth

The one that doesn't go through Google's door: each user gets an opaque, revocable .ics feed they can subscribe to from any calendar app. No OAuth, no install.

WHAT IT DOES

iCalendar in Orquiva

01

Works with any calendar client

Apple Calendar (macOS, iOS), Outlook, Google Calendar, Fastmail, Thunderbird — anything that speaks RFC 5545.

02

Tiered privacy by scope

SELF: your absences with type, everyone else's as "Out — Name". TEAM (managers): full detail for your direct reports. ALL (admins): everything. You choose when creating the token.

03

Opaque and revocable tokens

Each user creates and revokes their own tokens from Personal Settings. Shared the URL by accident? Destroy it and create another.

04

Holidays always included

Country holidays and tenant overrides appear in all scopes — they're public information.

WHAT IT DOESN'T DO (YET)

What we admit without dressing up. Need something missing? Tell us and it joins the roadmap.

  • Read-only. You can't create Orquiva events from the external calendar.

  • Refresh frequency is decided by the calendar client (typically 15 min – 1 h). It's not real-time.

SETUP

Three steps, five minutes.

  1. 1

    Generate your token

Personal Settings → iCalendar → Create subscription. Pick the scope you're entitled to.

  2. 2

    Copy the URL

Orquiva gives you a long opaque URL. That's your identity: treat it like a password.

  3. 3

    Subscribe from your calendar

Apple Calendar: File → New subscription. Google: Other calendars → From URL. Outlook: Add calendar → Subscribe from web.

PRIVACY & DATA

The scope model is designed to be GDPR/Spanish LOPD compliant by default. Employees never see the reason for a colleague's absence unless they have manager or admin rights.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What happens if a manager loses the role? +

Existing TEAM tokens stop returning team detail as soon as the change propagates (seconds). The feed keeps working at SELF scope.

Is there a token limit per user? +

Five per user. Enough for several devices without creating a security gap.
